At JOY FM, we are passionate about praying for the needs of our listening family. Prayer is an important part of "Helping You Live the Life." This is why we want to partner with you in prayer. We encouarge you to submit your own prayer requests or pray for the current prayer requests of other listeners. Galatians 6:2 states, "Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ." It gives us great JOY and we are continually amazed at how God answers prayers!

We currently live in Wisconsin and are contemplating moving to Missouri to be closer to our children and grandchildren. We both need employment in order for this to happen, I have a job offer, my wife is seeking to also be blessed. She has retail management experience in a Christian Bookstore setting and is seeking employment she an use those skills in MO. I ask for doors to open for both of us as we take a step of faith!

My husband Steve has a court date Mon 7/07/08 for something he did while on drugs. He has turned his life around, gone through rehab and has been clean and sober for over a year now. He realizes how important it is to live your life for the Lord. Please pray for him, and for me his wife, he is looking at 3-15 years in prison and I keep hoping and praying for a miracle!

I am fighting depression. The devil has been working against me a lot in the past week and I am getting weak and tired. Please pray that God will deliver me, give me strength to keep up the fight, that I will not be taken from my children.

I often have come here in the past to ask for prayers. Today, I come to THANK GOD AND GIVE HIM PRAISE. My prayers for my husband and family are slowly but surely coming to fruition! God's time is ALWAYS the right time. Praise Jesus!

World Changers

Please pray for youth/adults who will be coming to Bonne Terre, MO from many different parts of the US to do house repair for low-income and elderly folks. Pray for safety and good weather. Pray for God to speak during times of praise and worship during the evenings.

My husband and I

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost a year and we just recently found out that we are unable to have children on our own. I am asking for prayer that God's will be done in this situation. If it is in His plan for us not to have children then give us peace so that we can move on.

My Husband and our family

Just an update and to ask you to continually remember me and my family in prayer. I have emailed a couple of times about my husband and his job situation. Earlier this year he interviewed for a job but then that job was put on hold. Later on I asked you to keep praying because it was still on hold. Well – the latest news is that it is still on hold but we have found out that the company will know in a couple of weeks for sure if the job is a go or a no go. We believe that my husband is seriously being considered if the job is approved. Please continue to pray that the Lord will open doors. We want his will above anything and no matter what - we know that he is in control and we will follow where he leads. I also ask that you pray for me that I will speak the right words of encouragement to my husband during this time and that I will know how to pray for the whole situation myself so that glory is brought to God and God alone. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Please pray for me. I am having really bad panic attacks and I feel like my heart is breaking. I am having problems with a family member who has hurt my mother and broken both of our hearts. He is keeping a loved one from us and I don't know how much we can take. I feel like I am losing my way and I am lost in the dark and can't seem to find the light. I can't feel God and I feel like God has turned his back on all my tears.

I just got my drivers permit today, and am very excited about it. But I would appreciate it if you would pray for my safety as a new driver.

My husband has been interim pastor at a church since February, the church was down to 5 members and my husband applied to be the full time pas. Now after all this time, a previous pastor decides he wants the job. He has a lot of people who like him. My husband is a great pastor and the church has grown a lot. Now this guy wants to take over.
