At JOY FM, we are passionate about praying for the needs of our listening family. Prayer is an important part of "Helping You Live the Life." This is why we want to partner with you in prayer. We encouarge you to submit your own prayer requests or pray for the current prayer requests of other listeners. Galatians 6:2 states, "Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ." It gives us great JOY and we are continually amazed at how God answers prayers!

Current Prayer Requests

Me	I am going through a spiritual battle, and I'm not sure of my path and where God wants my heart to be fully. I have been discouraged because I feel lost! And I'm often angry for no reason and I'm not happy with myself right now! Pray for me to have better understanding of God's will and where I stand! And to keep evil far from me!
Thomas	Please pray for Thomas, he had a head injury last week and has had two brain surgeries. We are boldly praying for FULL restoration of his mind and FULL body function and for God to bring our family closer to Him through this. We pray that with his healing, his relationship with God will be restored and will forever proclaim Christ as His Savior and give Him all the glory!!
Me	I have a problem with my family. My grandson is not expected to live and every time I say or do anything they find fault with me but yet they are Christians. If I cry, they play it up and say I just want attention. I need help. This is not my heart. I love and just want to talk to my daughter and see my grandson. Please pray they see me in a different way.
Thomas	Thomas had a head injury and is in ICU Barnes Hospital. He has had two surgeries and we have not been given much hope. Pray for the family.
Lauren	My friend who has turned away from God and used to go to church has no desire to turn back to Him.
Nick	I am a young adult who has been working at a clothing store for a while and its just not paying the bills. I had a job interveiw today for a second job. I am praying and asking you to pray to for me to get the job or that the Lord will open a door to me for a 2nd job so that it may help me have a little finacial stability.
Me	I am struggling in my current job. I am under an administrator that is very critical. This makes my second year of battling to keep my head afloat. I am trying to keep up the pace and overextend myself so that I receive good marks on my evaluation. I have become so worried about this that I feel it has become a stronghold. I am asking that everyone pray for my confidence, for my victory over the enemy, and for my constant faith to make it through this.
Jessica	Dear God, I would like to pray for myself and others graduating this year. Keep us strong so we finish the year off good. In Jesus name. Amen
My Family	My family is going through a rough time. They are very prone to drama and gossip. With a family as large as mine not everyone is saved. Most of them have different belief systems than I do. When these beliefs clash fights tend to break out. My parents and I are on one end with everyone else is on the other. I have my own ideas of how to solve problems but since I'm the child its hard to solve problems on my own. I know it sounds complicated but its really not. We just need prayers and guidance. I personally need help with my anger and gossip in this situation. Its hard not to stoop to their level. The person that really needs prayer is my mother. This is her family that is turning their backs on her and she has always been the clam and collected one until this all started a few days ago. She has gotten angry and she is starting to get fed up of the way she has been treated her whole life. I want the fighting to stop not just for me and my family but especially for my mother. I hate seeing her in such pain and frustration. She is the most calm and peaceful person i know and she doesn't deserve to be treated this way.
Brock	I'd like to ask you all to stop and pray right now for a little boy named Brock. He fell in the gym today at school and has a fractured skull and is bleeding internally. I have not heard yet weather they will have to do surgery or not. He is SO very precious. Thank you in advance for your prayers!

High School Student	One of my high school student's girlfriend is contemplating an abortion at 5 months! We've prayed together already, expecting God to perform a miracle for Jayden and his parents!!!! In Jesus Name...Amen!
Layla Grace	Please pray for Sweet Layla Grace. She is 2 years old and in the final days of her battle with neuroblastoma. Her family is a very strong Christian family and this little girl has reached so many and brought them closer to God. She is a miracle child.
